MikroTik Metal 5 SHPn outdoor wireless unit in a sealed metal enclosure, with a 5 GHz 802.11a/n radio and an N-male connector for an external antenna.
The Metal 5 SHPn is a 5 GHz radio unit housed in a sealed, industrial-design metal enclosure. It has no antenna: its N-male connector lets it be mounted directly onto a 5 GHz antenna or linked to one with a coaxial cable. Depending on the chosen antenna, it serves as an access point, one end of a point-to-point link or a CPE.
Its single-chain 802.11a/n radio is designed for high transmit power, which is useful on long-range links. The unit is powered by passive PoE through the supplied injector, attaches to a mast with the included loops and runs RouterOS with a level 4 licence. Signal strength LEDs make antenna alignment easier during installation.
