MikroTik LHG 5 RBLHG-5nD Outdoor CPE
MikroTik LHG 5 outdoor CPE combining a dual-chain 5 GHz 802.11a/n radio with an integrated 24.5 dBi grid antenna, for long-distance links.
The LHG 5 brings together a dual-chain 5 GHz 802.11a/n radio and a 24.5 dBi dual-polarisation grid antenna in a single device. It is installed at the subscriber's premises as a CPE, far from the access point, or at both ends of a point-to-point link. As the antenna is built into the radio unit, there is no coaxial cable and no cable loss to plan for.
The grid structure reduces wind load: MikroTik states 186 N at 205 km/h. The device ships disassembled for compact transport; it has a grounding point and an adapter that tilts the antenna by five degrees. It is powered by passive PoE through the supplied injector and runs RouterOS with a level 3 licence, with support for the Nv2 TDMA protocol.
