itel IESS-05K10N all-in-one energy station combining a 500 W pure sine wave inverter, a 400 W MPPT charge controller and a 1,000 Wh LiFePO4 battery.
The itel IESS-05K10N, which the manufacturer calls Power Tank, combines a 500 W hybrid inverter, a 400 W MPPT solar charge controller and a 1,000 Wh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery in a single enclosure. It connects to the mains and to photovoltaic panels, then powers small household appliances directly through its two output sockets: lighting, fan, television, internet box or laptop.
During the day, solar production supplies the appliances first and the surplus charges the battery; at night, the battery takes over. If the grid fails, the unit switches to battery in 20 ms or less, much like a backup power supply. The mains and the panels can charge the battery at the same time, which according to the manufacturer allows a full recharge in about 2 hours. The enclosure has a carry handle and can also be wall-mounted with the supplied brackets.
