Binatone KC-6000 Chopper and Yam Pounder 6 L 1000 W

The Binatone KC-6000 is a large-capacity chopper designed for everyday African dishes: pounded yam, fufu, minced meat, ground beans or crushed chilli. The 1000 W motor unit sits on the lid of a 6-litre stainless steel bowl and drives two tiers of stainless steel blades, so family-sized quantities can be processed in one go, up to 1.5 kg of meat or 2 kg of onions according to the manufacturer's chart.

It is operated with two buttons, a slow speed for coarse chopping and a high speed for finer results. A safety switch prevents start-up until the lid and motor unit are correctly fitted, and overheat protection cuts the motor in case of overload. It works in bursts of no more than 15 seconds, followed by a rest period. The bowl, lid and blades come apart for washing, and blade covers are supplied for storage.
