The Kenwood ZJM01.A0BK, from the Accent Collection, is a cordless electric kettle with a metal body, a 1.7 L capacity and 2,200 W of power. It is suited to everyday tea, coffee, hot drinks and cooking water.

The flip-top lid opens at the press of a button, and an internal gauge lets you fill between the MIN and MAX marks. An indicator light in the switch shows when the kettle is heating, and it switches off by itself at boiling point; it also cuts out if switched on with too little water. The wide spout holds a removable limescale filter, the flat element is easy to descale, and the 360° base lets you put the kettle back from any angle, with a cord wrap underneath.
