The Galaxy Z TriFold is Samsung's first smartphone that folds in three. Folded, it works as a phone thanks to its 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover screen; unfolded, it offers a 10-inch main screen at 2160 x 1584 pixels and 120 Hz, the largest in the Galaxy Z range. This format lets you show several apps side by side and use Samsung DeX directly on the main screen, with up to four workspaces.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor is paired here with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The rear camera module combines a stabilised 200 MP main sensor with 12 MP and 10 MP modules, with 3x optical zoom and video up to 8K. The 5,600 mAh battery (typical) is rated for up to 17 hours of video playback. The Armor Aluminum frame and titanium hinge housing are IP48 rated; Samsung states that the box includes a 45 W adapter, a cable, a Carbon Shield case and an anti-reflective film fitted to the cover screen.
