MikroTik Cloud Core CCR1036-12G-4S-EM router

The CCR1036-12G-4S-EM is a Cloud Core Router designed for networks that must handle a high volume of packets: an internet service provider's core, an operator aggregation point or a large business site. It uses a 36-core TILE processor at 1.2 GHz with 8 GB of RAM and runs RouterOS with a level 6 licence. Its ports are connected directly to the CPU; MikroTik states throughput of up to 16 Gbit/s.

The unit mounts in a rack in a 1U enclosure. It takes two AC power supplies for redundancy and is cooled by two fans. A colour touchscreen LCD, a USB type A port, an M.2 slot and an RJ45 serial console port for out-of-band management complete the device. The EM version stands out with its 8 GB of RAM.
