Tapo C425 wire-free Wi-Fi camera with 2K QHD video, 10,000 mAh battery, colour night vision, AI detection, magnetic base and outdoor IP66 housing.
The TP-Link Tapo C425 is a fully wire-free security camera powered by a 10,000 mAh battery, for watching an entrance, garden, garage or the inside of a building. It attaches in seconds to its magnetic base on an iron surface, or screws to a wall or ceiling, and its IP66 housing resists rain and dust. TP-Link quotes up to 300 days per charge, and the Tapo A200 solar panel, sold separately, can keep it charged continuously.
The 2K QHD image (2560 × 1440) covers a 150° diagonal angle; at night the Starlight sensor and built-in spotlights keep the image in colour, and infrared reaches about 15 m. AI detection recognises people, pets and vehicles, with adjustable activity zones, a 94 dB siren and two-way audio. Footage is saved to microSD up to 512 GB (not included) or to the cloud by subscription.
